COVID Statement - Masking & Vaccinations - Please read

Important Notice

As you know, the Governor has announced Friday the new masking and vaccination requirements for businesses in New York beginning on Monday 12/13/21. I am not 100% clear as to how the state expects us to comply with the new mandate without facing serious issues, and or long term consequences.  We are facing very expensive fines if not compliant.
Beginning  12/13/21 per the new requirements, we will be asking clients to show proof of vaccination. If you can not provide this information, then we will need you to wear a mask while in the office and massage room.  This decision from the state is based on the fact that NYS is only 80% vaccinated and is trying to enforce vaccination. We understand that this is a sensitive and personal issue for many and one that we would not be raising if our hands were not forced by the state.
As always I appreciate your support and your understanding.

A Better Massage prides itself in being an Evidence Based Practice (EBP).  Our clinical massage therapy practice is based on three essential components. The first component is that we stay current in research and gather accurate evidence which our massage therapists apply to each of their patient’s treatments. Secondly as an EBP, A Better Massage employs only massage therapists with considerable massage therapy and clinical experience.  Therapists learn both hands on and communication skills to allow them the best opportunity to connect with their patients.  Most important, our massage therapists always consider the values and needs of the patient.  Through evidence-based bodywork, our massage therapists gain results for our patients and through their knowledge, guide patients to the best form of treatment for the patient’s specific injury or need.

Jackie Santulli, LMT PTA
Jackie Santulli worked as a Licensed Physical Assistant in several settings, such as, Hospital, Home care and Private Sports clinics for 15 years.  Jackie attended the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage and obtained her massage license in 2004.
Jackie worked for Gold’s Gym of Liverpool and of Dewitt as director of Massage Therapy for four years.  After leaving her position in 2009 with Gold’s Gym, she went on her own to open “A Better Massage”.  Her wide variety of knowledge and techniques in Injury/Medical Massage, Swedish Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Hot Stone, Hot Poultice Massage & Raindrop Therapy, helps her to achieve the best possible treatment for her clients.
